About Dino Rush
A 3D run down a three-lane jungle track: dodge boulders and charging dinosaurs, jump the logs, grab the eggs.
Dino Rush puts the Trex Game Studio T-rex on a three-lane track through the jungle, in full 3D. He runs on his own and keeps getting faster; you choose the lane. Boulders block a lane and have to be gone round. Fallen logs lie across the track and can be jumped. And now and then a big green dinosaur comes walking the other way — you cannot jump one of those, so be in another lane when it arrives.
You have three hearts. A hit costs one and gives you a moment in which nothing can hurt you; lose all three and the run is over. Your score is the distance you ran in metres, and every egg you pick up adds 25. Some eggs float in the air over a log: jump through them. Every row of the track leaves a way through, however fast it gets. The leaderboard is weekly: it resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
How to play
- Press Run! The T-rex starts in the middle lane and runs by himself.
- Change lane with the left and right arrow keys (or A and D). On a phone, swipe left or right on the track, or use the ◀ and ▶ buttons.
- Jump with Space or the up arrow. On a phone, swipe up, tap the track, or press ▲.
- Go round boulders and oncoming dinosaurs; jump the logs.
- Pick up eggs for 25 points each — the ones in the air need a jump.
- Three hits and the run ends. Sign in to put your score on the weekly board.
Tips
- Look ahead, not at your feet: the next row is already in sight long before it reaches you.
- A dinosaur walks towards you, so it arrives sooner than a boulder at the same distance — move early.
- You can change lane in the air, so a jump over a log can end in the next lane.
- Eggs often wait in the lane that is free, just after a row of obstacles.
- After a hit you blink for a moment and nothing can hurt you: use it to get to a better lane.
Questions players ask
When does the leaderboard reset?
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC. The top three of each week receive an honour on their profile, and your best score never resets.
Is there always a way through?
Yes. Every row of the track leaves at least one lane open or a log you can jump. We test this with a computer player that has to survive two minutes on hundreds of different tracks without a single hit.
How do you know a score is real?
The game sends us the moves you made, not just the score. Our server runs them again on the same track and counts the score itself, so a score can only be earned by playing.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — swipe on the track or use the three buttons at the bottom. The game is 3D, so a very old phone may run it less smoothly; the score does not depend on how smoothly it runs.
