About Trex Runner
Trex Runner stars the T-Rex family from Trex Game Studio. Rex sets off across a prehistoric land and keeps running: jump the rocks, the cycads and the piles of old bones, duck under the low-flying pterodactyls, and scoop up a golden egg when one hangs within reach. The further you run, the faster the land rushes past — and one bump ends the run.
A quick tap gives a short hop; hold the button for a high jump; press down in the air to drop fast. Run as Rex or as his grumpy, moustached uncle Mo from the start, and unlock Bella and Frost by setting a better best. Every runner plays exactly the same, so the board is fair. The day turns to dusk and night as your score climbs, and the leaderboard is weekly: it resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
How to play
- Pick your runner and press Run!
- Jump with Space or the up arrow. On a phone, tap anywhere on the game. Hold for a higher jump.
- Duck with the down arrow. On a phone, hold the see-through ▼ button at the lower left. Ducking in the air drops you to the ground faster.
- Jump the rocks, cycads and bones; duck under pterodactyls flying at head height, jump the low ones, and run under the high ones.
- Your score grows with every metre, and each golden egg adds 50.
- One bump ends the run. Bella unlocks at a best of 500 and Frost at 1500. Sign in to put your score on the weekly board.
Tips
- Jump early rather than late: a held jump carries you a long way, and you can always drop fast with down.
- Watch the height of a pterodactyl, not just where it is: high ones fly over you if you stay on the ground.
- A short tap is often enough for a single rock — save the big jumps for clusters of cycads.
- Golden eggs up high are worth a jump, but not into a pterodactyl.
- At night the land is darker but nothing else changes — keep your rhythm.
Questions players ask
When does the leaderboard reset?
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC. The final standings are kept: the top three of each week receive an honour on their profile, and your best score never resets.
Does the runner I pick make a difference?
Only to how it looks. Rex, Mo, Bella and Frost are the same size and jump the same way, so every score on the board was earned on equal terms.
How do you know a score is real?
The game sends us the moves you made, not just the score. Our server runs them again from the same start and counts the score itself, so a score can only be earned by playing.
Do I need an account to play?
No. Press Run! and you play straight away under a guest name. Sign in with an account you already have to put your score on the weekly leaderboard.
